Hosting the headquarters of various global brands and multinationals, Amsterdam is the perfect venue for the 2nd Annual T.R.A.D.E. Conference.
The conference will be held at the EYE, an architectural pearl at the bank of the IJ which hosts a film museum and is located in the North part of the city which has recently been (re)discovered by Amsterdam, close to the historic canals and just behind the central station. Ferries will take you to the EYE from there and back as well as to the adjacent and fancy Sir Adam Hotel. This hotel will serve as the seminar hotel and it offers breathtaking views on Amsterdam and the IJ and is based in the former Shell Tower which also hosts nice restaurants, cool bars and great clubs.
The event will feature high-profile speakers sharing their views and experiences on current developments in (private) trade, retail, agency, distribution, franchising and e-commerce. The seminar is designed to give practical insights, both from lawyers' and in-house counsels' perspective, and to create a platform for the exchange of their knowledge and experience. The scientific programme will particularly focus on international commercial contracts and address a broad range of topics, from tools for intercultural negotiations to strategies of drafting, managing and terminating contracts. Hot topics such as the effects of “Brexit” on cross-border contracts will complete the cutting-edge programme.
Finally, the seminar will offer a very interesting social programme in a vibrant city and international business hub. The 2nd Annual T.R.A.D.E. Conference in Amsterdam is an ideal opportunity to network with lawyers and in-house counsels from all over the world. The Organizing Committee is looking forward to meeting you in Amsterdam!
