We are AIJA

AIJA offers you numerous opportunities to enrich your professional knowledge and to gain insights into your area of practice thanks to the 20+ events organised every year. Events are, in fact, at the cornerstone of AIJA and participating gives you the unique chance to develop your global network and your skills. But AIJA is not only events. Discover more!

Did you know that AIJA has 21 academic Commissions? The Commissions coordinate AIJA's activities and organise events around the world. Being a member of a Commission is one of the most important benefits of joining the association. Joining one or more Commissions will offer you the unique opportunity to take part in an international forum dedicated to the exchange of expertise and experience among young legal practitioners across the world.

The e-learning centre provides AIJA members with video recordings from our virtual, hybrid and recorded events. You can replay previously these and other video contents during your own time, wherever you are.

Resources

Resources

This section serves as a resource to members. Below you will find specific templates for letterheads, presentations, but also the membership brochure, the AIJA brand guidelines and assets, and information about how to organise seminars.

Forum

Forum

In this section members can ask questions to the community. Beside the general forum, you'll also find the Business Referral Dashboard, a section dedicated to requests for help with legal cases concerning foreign countries.

3. Buddy programme

The best way to experience AIJA is to interact with the community. Join the buddy programme organised by the SCILL Commission to be introduced to the association and your peers.

This initiative will allow each new member to be paired with a more experienced member from the same commission giving you an insight into the functioning of the association.

Your buddy will help you understand how to make the most of your experience during your time as a member.
